When I and my sisters were little, we loved to play house. I was always the "mother", Stacey was the " father", and Grace and Bethany were "the children".
Stacey has always been the most outdoorsy and tom-boyish of any of us girls. Nope, no fancy dresses, bows, or make-up for this gal! She is most comfortable in well-worn jeans and t-shirt, heavy boots, a large pocket knife and a perpetual ball-cap hat. Though her taste in clothes would probably never get her on the cover of a fashion magazine, one of Stacey's many talents is a large amount of creativity and skill in wood carving.
Over the years, Stacey has made quite a number of things from wood scraps and match sticks. Most recently, she has gotten some electric tools to help her with various projects. She often comes in for dinner covered in sawdust and with an occasional blister or two.
Stacey really enjoys wood working and is good at what she does. Besides being super talented, Godly, trustworthy, funny, strong, tenderhearted, determined, resourceful, and an EMT, Stacey is an awesome sister and best friend! Love ya, sis!
